About the area

Greve, Solrød, Karlslunde and Køge:
Close to the beach and with many protected nature beaches there are numerous possibilities to go for walks along the water and soak in the beautiful nature of the place. The areas also offer great shopping possibilities both in the form of shopping centres, like that in the Shopping Center Waves or Greve, as well as small high streets in each individual town.

There are also a large variety of trails and bicycle paths, sports facilities like Greve Indoors Swimming pool Centre, as well as great S-tog (train) connections both to the centre of Copenhagen as well as to other parts of Denmark.

Køge Torv, an old part of town, also offers many other activities in the form of local markets, concerts and many more activities throughout the year. There is also a very cozy cafe and shopping atmosphere, with the newer part of town offering the more mainstream chain shops. The ferry to Bornholm goes from Køge Harbor, and all in all the harbor is very active being used very much as a trading post.
