Kastrup is a town located on Amager app. 10 km from Copenhagen City.

Kastrup is a beautiful city close to the water, the airport and amazing natural areas. With a short drive you can reach the beautiful Dragør with the very popular harbor area, and Dragør Fort.
Kastrup also has its own harbor, which has a cozy atmosphere. Amager Fælled naturepark is also very close.

Kastrup has both lovely family-friendly villa areas, town houses and apartments. Here are good schools and institutions, as well as good opportunities for children and young people in the form of sports and leisure activities. Fx. there is a softball club with 2 softball fields, and Kastrup Søbad. It's also here you can find the extremely popular Flyvergrill, where you can see the big airplanes take off and land up close. Other attractions are Den Blå Planet, Kastrup Fort and Kalvebod Fælled.

For the adults there is both cinema and a lot of good shopping. Fields and Amager Center are relatively close. App. 10 minutes from Kastrup you find the big and beautiful Amager Beach park.

There are good bus connections, and there is also a train station where "Kystbanen" runs. Kastrup is part of the Metro's 3rd stage, so when it's ready, it's even easier to get into Copenhagen City.
