Ishøj is a suburb of Copenhagen, located app. 20-30 minutes drive from Copenhagen City by car or train.

You will find two types of city in Ishøj. The modern Ishøj is located around Ishøj City Center. Here are many streets and squares with shops and restaurants. In the old Ishøj villages - Torslunde, Tranegilde and Ishøj Village - there are thatched houses, ancient churches and the burial mounds. In Ishøj you find both town and country.
