About

Lovely rental home where aesthetics, modern convenience and sustainability go up in a higher unit. Nothing is left to chance here. The unique facades are created from recycled bricks from eg. Carlsberg's historic buildings and upcycled wood from the Metro building. This is how Ressourcerækkerner helps to save the world a good amount of CO2 - and at the same time get a very special character, which gives the property plenty of soul. Ressourcerækkerne apartments have plenty of space for everyone. Both the single, the couple and families with children. From the cozy, bright 2-bedroom to the large, open 5-bedroom. And unique penthouse apartments with private roof terrace and plenty of options. Whatever you choose, you will get a home that is cherished by the detail, the light and the space utilization. And access to a shared roof terrace and a fantastic, green courtyard environment with plenty of opportunity for outdoor living, play and community with the neighbors. New construction can usually feel as though there is a lack of "soul". Atmosphere is often something that comes first with time. Fortunately, in Ressourcerækkerne, it is a little different. There is plenty of soul, life and warmth from day one. We have chosen not only the traditional, mass-produced building materials, but also materials that tell a story. From the recycled bricks from i.a. Carlsberg Breweries for uncycled wood materials from Copenhagen Metro construction. Lendager Up has developed a floor type of excess wood from Dinesen's production - wood that would otherwise have ended up as waste. In 2016, over 400,000 tonnes of wood waste was registered in Denmark. We want to reduce that figure - for the benefit of you and future generations. Ressourcerækkerne have just a little more to offer. Here you will find a beautiful, modern rental house with lots of soul, a very special expression - and a really good location with a short road to everything. You have only five minutes to the fantastic nature of Kalvebod Common, and if you want to get to the city center, it only takes a quarter of the metro, then you are at Kongens Nytorv. This is a pretty good combination of green surroundings on the one hand and City's many options on the other. But one thing is the good location, another is the good conscience. You also get that when you move into the Ressourcerækkerne, where upcycling and sustainability are considered as a natural part of the construction.

About the area

Copenhagen S and Amager have undergone a transformation in the recent years. Many new apartments have been built, and there are therefore many interesting buildings. In addition there is a large nice beach park, and large green areas where you can go running or go for a walk. There are also shopping options including 2 shopping centers Amager Center and Fields just a metro ride away. In addition, there is a a lot of small local shops, and a many restaurants and cafees. On Refhalsøen close by, you find the Opera House, and the popular Reffen with unique dining experiences. From here you can also get to Nyhavn via the new bike bridge.

Amager is diverse, and you will find all kinds of people and different areas. Both areas with brand new modern apartment buildings in Ørestaden, or the old town in the area at Lergravsparken and Holmbladsgade. Amager has both sides: residential apartment areas, and also many villa neighborhoods with schools and institutions close by. Perfect for all kind of families.
Here are plenty of things to do: Sports facilities, Cultural houses, swimming pools, flea markets, concerts, parks and children's events.

There are good public transport options with both A-buses and Metro. You can always easily get to the city, or to the airport. Otherwise hop on the bike, and get into City in no time.

Right at the beginning of Amager you will find Islands Brygge (or Bryggen). As this is also a newer part of Copenhagen, there are many new buildings. There is a great atmosphere at the canalfront, and harbor bath in the summer, and with the new bike bridge you can come directly from Bryggen, and over to Fisketorvet shopping center and close to Vesterbro.

Beautiful Christianshavn also is located in the beginning of Amager. Christianshavn is a lively area with lots of charm and atmosphere. By the canal you will find many small cafes and shops.
There is a very personal atmosphere out there, with many beautiful and unique homes.
Along the eastern coast of the island, Christianshavn's Vold runs beautifully. Here you find one of the most important green area in the neighborhood. Christianshavn is also full of charming old buildings, that give the area a personal touch. One of the biggest attractions in Christianshavn is the famous Christiania area.

Amager is really popular, and many choose to live here instead of the City, because the feeling and the atmosphere are very similar. Here is always life and happy days, and every year Christmas opens with a fantastic Christmas Parade through Amagerbrogade.

Welcome to Copenhagen S and Amager
