About

Ørestad Have is as created for the modern metropolitan dweller, who is looking for a delicious, spritny residence close to town and nature. Whether you choose the 2s, 3s, 4s or 5s, you get a modern and spacious apartment filled with fine details that add extra quality of life in everyday life: from the open and inviting kitchen areas to the extra high windows, which ensures lots of lovely daylight in the home - to the delight of body and mind. It gives you the perfect setting to create a nice and harmonious home right in the heart of the popular Ørestad Syd; with Common, as far as the eye can see and only seven Metro stops from Kgs. Nytorv. The idea behind Ørestad Garden is to create a house that is full of life. The courtyard has room for the whole family, and the children have plenty of freedom to run and play in inspiring and safe settings. In the northern part of the Kareen, a day care center is established and therefore Ørestad Have an unusually large playground for children to use outside the institution's opening hours. Here you will find everything your heart desires: playhouse, sandpit, slide, trampoline, swings and climbing frame. In addition, a lush nature area has been created in the yard where you can play hide-and-seek or the soil is toxic between the tree trunks. In short: here the imagination can seriously run freely. But of course, space has also been made for the adults. Lovely seating, a beautiful planting and various inviting areas allow you to enjoy the outdoors, have coffee with your neighbors, read a book or whatever you are in the mood for. In the Ørestad Garden, the youngest people have a great deal of thought. The kindergarten is a fingertip away, and the most delightful playground is right outside the door

About the area

Copenhagen S and Amager have undergone a transformation in the recent years. Many new apartments have been built, and there are therefore many interesting buildings. In addition there is a large nice beach park, and large green areas where you can go running or go for a walk. There are also shopping options including 2 shopping centers Amager Center and Fields just a metro ride away. In addition, there is a a lot of small local shops, and a many restaurants and cafees. On Refhalsøen close by, you find the Opera House, and the popular Reffen with unique dining experiences. From here you can also get to Nyhavn via the new bike bridge.

Amager is diverse, and you will find all kinds of people and different areas. Both areas with brand new modern apartment buildings in Ørestaden, or the old town in the area at Lergravsparken and Holmbladsgade. Amager has both sides: residential apartment areas, and also many villa neighborhoods with schools and institutions close by. Perfect for all kind of families.
Here are plenty of things to do: Sports facilities, Cultural houses, swimming pools, flea markets, concerts, parks and children's events.

There are good public transport options with both A-buses and Metro. You can always easily get to the city, or to the airport. Otherwise hop on the bike, and get into City in no time.

Right at the beginning of Amager you will find Islands Brygge (or Bryggen). As this is also a newer part of Copenhagen, there are many new buildings. There is a great atmosphere at the canalfront, and harbor bath in the summer, and with the new bike bridge you can come directly from Bryggen, and over to Fisketorvet shopping center and close to Vesterbro.

Beautiful Christianshavn also is located in the beginning of Amager. Christianshavn is a lively area with lots of charm and atmosphere. By the canal you will find many small cafes and shops.
There is a very personal atmosphere out there, with many beautiful and unique homes.
Along the eastern coast of the island, Christianshavn's Vold runs beautifully. Here you find one of the most important green area in the neighborhood. Christianshavn is also full of charming old buildings, that give the area a personal touch. One of the biggest attractions in Christianshavn is the famous Christiania area.

Amager is really popular, and many choose to live here instead of the City, because the feeling and the atmosphere are very similar. Here is always life and happy days, and every year Christmas opens with a fantastic Christmas Parade through Amagerbrogade.

Welcome to Copenhagen S and Amager
