Brøndby Strand
Brøndby is a lovely suburban city to Copenhagen, and is located approx. 15 km away. It is divided into 4 districts: Brøndbyøster, Brøndby Nord, Brøndbyvester and Brøndby Strand.
There are good opportunities for public transport, and it takes approx. 30 min. with the S-train into Copenhagen. Brøndby is close to the motorway, and takes approx. 20 min. by car to Copenhagen.
The area has both beaches, ramparts and forests and a marina within a very short distance. Brøndby Strand is probably one of Denmark's best beaches, and there is therefore plenty of opportunity for beautiful nature experiences. In fact, 12% of the area here is covered by green areas. So if you enjoy farm trips, bike rides or jogging outdoors, this is a perfect area.
The area is very child-friendly with many schools, institutions, playgrounds, sports facilities and more. At the same time, the city is in rapid development, and new modern properties are constantly being built.
The area has 2 culture houses, and there is a great focus on the cultural, so there are always many activities you can participate in. The city is diverse and lively, and you will find good shopping opportunities. Among other things. Rødovre Centrum and Glostrup Center are very close to Brøndby.
Brøndby is part of Vestegnen, which is probably best known for Brøndby IF and Brøndby Stadion. At Brøndby IF, there is a great focus on the development of young football players, and in general there is a great focus on the sport, with many opportunities. Brøndby is also called the City of Sport.
