Ballerup a medium sized city just northwest of Copenhagen with app. 50.000 inhabitants.
In the center you have a little sense of urban life, but you are close to nature with forests, fields and lakes. And by driving within 15-20 minutes you can reach fjord or beach.
Here it is calm and pretty quiet, and there is not the vibrant city feeling, as you see in Copenhagen.

It is a city for everyone. There are a lot of possibilities for children, young people and adults alike. Here you will experience many things to do and cultural events.
You will not be bored. There is theater, cinema, art, shopping mall, giant playland, go kart, bowling alley and much more.
Ballerup has a good sports spirit with Ballerup Sports Park, Ballerup Super Arena and Eat Kilbride Bath, and many sports clubs and unions. In the Ballerup Super Arena, there are often other cultural experiences, such as concerts and fairs.

In Ballerup you will find both apartment areas, and really nice villa areas, and here are fantastic schools, institutions and youth clubs. You also find Technical School and Business School.
The city is suitable for all - young people, families with children and seniors.

There are lots of big companies and industry in Ballerup like Toms Chocolate Factory and LEO Pharma. There is great opportunity for you to work close to your residence.

Right at the Ballerup Center, you will find the S-train station, which has the H and C line running. It is very easy to get to Copenhagen, or towards Frederikssund.
There are also a lot of buses running and cycling is easy. Ballerup also has many marked cycling and walking routes. The highway is just off Ballerup, so it's easy to get out of the city by car.

Ballerup is for those who want the feeling of living in the city, but still not far away from nature and Copenhagen. It's a really good inbetween.
