The majority of Frederiksberg are older, beautiful apartment buildings, but in the outer areas there are really nice villa areas, that are calm and quiet.

Frederiksberg Garden and Søndermarken are both beautiful green parks, that are popular for running, walks, picnics etc. It is also here that you will find The Zoo, a favorite retreat for families with children.
You will find everything on Frederiksberg; Swimming pool, sport facilties, good schools and institutions, nature, library, culture house and many other things. There are often activities and events, so Frederiksberg is a bit like a small city in the big city.

There is plenty of shopping at Frederiksberg, especially at Falkoner Alle and Gammel Kongevej, which offers plenty of special shops, cafes and restaurants, but Frederiksberg Center also offers a wealth of shops, including many well-known chain stores.

Copenhagen city center can be reached by bus or Metro, ensuring you can be in the center in less than ten minutes. Helsingør Highwayis also relatively easily accessible from here.
