This is a beautiful area in the northern part of Sjælland offering many possibilities with regards to nature, sport and much more. In this area you can take full advantage of the beautiful Scandinavian summers either at Nivå or Sletten beach. Here both grown-ups and children can soak up the atmosphere and the tranquility of the Danish countryside.
In addition you can enjoy a nice dinner in the various harbor towns along the coast, or on a rainy day, you can visit the very popular Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Louisiana exhibits both modern and contemporary art and features a very good restaurant.
The area also has much to offer in terms of sporting facilities, such as Kokkedal Golf Club or Kokkedal Castle. The Castle has recently been entirely renovated and has become a very attractive area for both joggers and for people who enjoys a walk in the beautiful countryside.
