Charlottenlund is a fantastic town app. 10 km north of Copenhagen K. The easiest way is to drive along the beautiful Strandvejen, and enjoy the view of Øresund. Strandvejen leads you to Helsingør and it takes app. 25 minutes.

Here you find almost everything. Harbor, beach, forest, parks, shopping and a hugely nice atmosphere. Here is quiet and calm. Charlottenlund is located right in the middle between Copenhagen and city life, and up north with the beautiful areas. Here are within a few kilometers Charlottenlund Fort, Hellerup Harbor, Bellevue Strand, Bernstoff Castle/Park, Dyrehaven and Bakken.

Charlottenlund is located right next to Hellerup, which is known for its good private schools, international schools and high schools, and has good public institutions.
Here is really child friendly. Lots of playgrounds, Experimentarium in Hellerup is perfect for all ages, and here are many sports and leisure activities. There are many great cultural events and activities.

From Charlottenlund Station it takes about 15 min. by train to Copenhagen City. Here are also good bus connections.
It is easy to cycle around Charlottenlund, also possible to take the bike to Copenhagen if the weather is nice.

Strandvejen is a central place in Charlottenlund and Hellerup, and is best known by the many shops, ice cream shops and cozy cafes and restaurants. Here is also a small pub, Sankt Peder, which is very popular for their food and cozy atmosphere. Especially in the summer. Here is easy access to the cozy harbours and coastal areas.

It is primarily villa, town houses and old beautiful apartment complexes found in Charlottenlund. Not really the very big overwhelming buildings.

You must live in Charlottenlund if you want to live in beautiful surroundings, with a quiet and cozy atmosphere. It is really a good location on the map.
