The area surrounding these four towns is very attractive, and is situated about half an hour by car or train from Copenhagen city centre.
If nature is of importance to you, then this is the ideal area to look into, as it offers forests, green spaces and beaches. There are also many sport facilities in the area, amongst them Hørsholm Sports Fields and Centre with a large swimming center, ice-skating rink, indoor- as well as outdoor tennis courts, football fields, skater parks, etc.
The entire area is perfect for families with children.
The houses in the area typically have larger gardens, than the ones closer to Copenhagen, and the area is full of families with children.
Hørsholm offers excellent shopping facilities as well as a shopping street.
In Vedbæk there is more focus on the harbor environment, with a number of good restaurants and cafés. Vedbæk Stationsvej also has its own set of fine shops and the best baker in the area.
Rungsted Harbour is the largest harbor on the coast with a number of shops, restaurants and take-away’s present, along with the type of life that normally follows in a busy and lively harbor.
